TINA ENGINEER-MCRAE

FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Tina Engineer-McRae (formerly Mughal), is the co-founder and President of M SEARCH and the practice area leader of the Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, & Tax, and Sales & Digital Marketing divisions. Her primary focus is to maintain the company’s unique culture by delivering a Concierge Approach that has forged long-term relationships with her clients and a huge network of human resource experts, who themselves often become clients.

Under Tina’s exceptional leadership, M SEARCH has strategically partnered with thousands of key corporate players, entrepreneurs, and business owners to build an extensive network of long-standing professional connections and legacy clients across the globe. Her exceptional eye for recognizing best in class talent has allowed her to engage dynamic leaders, who enable organizations to transform and rapidly scale.

Tina’s prior experience includes working in the UK for the world’s largest provider of HR solutions, where she received industry recognition and numerous awards. She later went on to spearhead the growth and acquisition of a leading South Florida based boutique recruitment firm.

Tina is multi-lingual, holds a BA (hons) in Business, Finance & Languages. Born and raised in Manchester, England to Indian born parents. Her father, Farokh Engineer, was an internationally acclaimed Test Cricketer. She is married and has a young daughter Zia, her greatest life achievement.

FERNANDO VEGA

VP EXECUTIVE SEARCH

A dynamic search professional with a background in finance and expertise in diversity recruitment. Fernando thrives on being the bridge between high-growth, tech & private equity-backed firms and disruptive executive leaders.

An active Certified Public Accountant, Fernando leads M SEARCH’s specialization in Finance, Accounting & Tax as well as all Executive level searches. He understands the nuances of technical and leadership capabilities, engaging high performers on behalf of clients and investors.

Fernando is committed to helping business leaders truly understand diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging, and is a Certified Diversity & Inclusion Recruiter accredited by AIRS.

A digital native, Fernando speaks the language of finance disruptors leveraging data & analytics, AI, and machine learning to become strategic catalysts, providing innovative solutions for potential clients.

With a strategic approach, Fernando enables clients to achieve organizational objectives by leveraging his business expertise and knowledge of technical competencies to recruit agile, tech-savvy leaders. Extensive background in public and private accounting and advisor to HNW individuals. Eight years’ experience in delivering results to clients through executive search.

Versatile consultant supporting a range of talent and leadership needs, including employer branding, talent mapping, and retention strategies. Fernando holds a master’s degree (MSF) in finance.

ANN JACOBY

CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER

Ann Jacoby is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with pure sales DNA. She has a demonstrated history of leading by connecting team members with a vision and common goal. With a culture first mindset, she understands and encourages meaningful connections within the organization to drive impact, transparency, and the willingness to learn through both successes and failures. She has tenured experience from startups to scale-ups to Fortune 500 companies in both leadership, sales training, mentoring and development, and employee coaching. She takes this experience and mindset and begins each client relationship at JJ Consulting with exactly where they are. There is no ‘one size fits all’ with value creation and revenue scale up-each journey is unique. Ann’s CEPA designation (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) helps her to dig in and become a valued partner to the firm from day one.

Ann has a BA in Business/Marketing from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco.

GIANNA PROSPERI

MANAGER EXECUTIVE SEARCH

Gianna is a dynamic executive search professional with over 8 years of recruiting experience. A graduate of Rider University with a degree in Human Resources Management, she has built a reputation for her passion and expertise in creating high-performing teams across industries, with a strong foundation in the Technology Industry, and a concentration in the Health Tech and Med Device sectors. 

Gianna began her career in tech and engineering recruiting, transitioning later to in-house recruiting with two early-stage Health Tech startups. In these roles, she played a pivotal part in building out teams from the ground up across functions like Sales, Marketing, Product, HR, Finance, and Operations. Her ability to identify and prioritize key skill sets, and a focus on developing transformational teams, ensured that organizational goals were not only met but often exceeded. 

A master of talent mapping, Gianna excels at creating competitive analyses and internal assessments, identifying what drives employee success, and enabling more intelligent and strategic sourcing for her clients. She is also adept at partnering with leaders at all stages—from first-time hiring managers to seasoned executives—developing thoughtful interview training, and candidacy pipeline best practices that contribute substantially to our Concierge Approach and being able to readily identify and source high performing talent.
